Objectives of NR3C

• Reporting Centre for all types of Cyber Crimes in the country (24/7 operation). Maintain a type –wise
  Log of all Cyber Crimes in the Country.
• Defining the Cyber Crimes and assist the law making institutions of the State to make “CYBER LAWS”
  on priority basis.
• Liaison with all national and International organization to handle the issue of cross border jurisdiction
  for efficiently handling the cases against the Cyber Criminals.
• Maintain a model security service level agreement for use in outsourcing security issues.
• Build investigation capability, while maintaining respect for privacy of Internet users.
• Organize a group of specialists from private public sector and task them to give recommendation on
  security related issues.
